iPhone EarPods are super cool but guess who’s taking a toll in the market for their much more supercool wireless earphones… Google Pixel buds.. yeah you heard it right.
In the latest version of the device, it appears to have come without much public acknowledgment that Google is making a big comeback with the same real-time google translate powers available with Google assistant optimized headphones.
The Google translate on Google Pixel buds was only available on all the Pixel phones before, but in a statement that was published by Google in October 2018, they said: “Google translate is available on all assistant optimized headphones and Android phones.”
The USB headphones which Google included in the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL box can now deliver translations too. It also means that if you have a set of Google Assistant enabled headphones, like Sony, Bose etc., you can now get this super cool feature on your device. You don’t even need a Pixel nor an Android device for the same. Any device could work and be connected.
The same feature of the translation was published by LG phones in August 2018. To begin a translation, you have to hold down the Assistant button on your headphones and say “Help me interpret Hindi” or any of the currently 40 supported languages that are been mentioned.
The languages include Afrikaans, English, Japanese, Serbian, Arabic, Finnish, Khmer, Sinhala, Armenian, French, Korean, Slovak, Bengali, German, Latvian, Spanish, Catalan, Greek, Nepali, Swahili, Chinese (Mandarin only), Hindi, Norwegian, Swedish, Croatian, Hungarian , Polish, Tamil, Czech, Icelandic, Portuguese, Thai, Danish, Indonesian, Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Vietnamese.
For the beginning, only these languages are going to be translated. With the newest features and updates, we would be able to see more of the coolest features from Google… till then grab your seat and let the music on cos it’s gonna be rocking!
